Due to the above-mentioned information, educational institutions opted to shift from traditional face-to-face classes to virtual classrooms. Thus, this study aims to determine the factors that trigger prospective special education teachers’ speaking anxiety in the virtual classroom and the prospective special education teachers’ coping mechanism with speaking anxiety inside the virtual classroom. Moreover, this study used a qualitative-descriptive design and then utilized a semi-structured interview. The respondents were chosen via purposive sampling. The total number of respondents is twenty (20) and they are all prospective special education teachers. Their ages ranged from 20 to 22 years old. It was revealed in the study that the factors that trigger prospective special education teachers’ speaking anxiety are the following: classmate factor, teacher factor, internal factor, learning environment factor, connectivity issues, low self-esteem, overthinking, pressure, being afraid of disappointments, not being a good speaker, and technological factor. On the other hand, these are the revealed coping mechanisms: talking to yourself, cutting explanations short, preparing a script before the class, staying focused, reading ahead of time, and seeking motivation.
Kathleen Villanueva, Eric-Roland Natividad, Jovannie Sarona, Ryan Cabangcala, Junette Buslon, Ednalyn Cadapan Copyright (c) 2023 2023-01-05 2023-01-05 1 44 01 19 Prospective Language Teachers’ Beliefs and Attitudes towards the Inclusion of Special Learners in Regular Classrooms http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/1998
This study investigated the various beliefs and attitudes of prospective language teachers towards inclusive education, limited only to the context of Filipino prospective language teachers, majoring in English and Filipino languages. While it is frequently claimed that customers purchase organic goods out of concern for their health, research on consumer preferences and behaviour is ambiguous as to what exactly qualifies as "healthy" for these buyers. promotes the purchase of organic goods by customers. This article explores how consumers, despite putting their own health first, negotiate and defend their purchasing patterns. The analysis is supported by study data gathered via focus groups. Three separate concepts regarding health may be discovered when customers discuss their preferences for organic goods: purity, happiness, and a holistic approach to health. The first two are familiar to us from food writing. Third, while less well- documented in terms of consumption, organic farming reflects these objectives. The goal of purchasing organic food is health. When discussing healthy eating generally and independent of any particular situation, the majority of participants considered a simply nutritional standpoint as a strong basis to endorse arguments regarding healthy eating. The results of the article may be useful for future studies on organic eating. There are applications for those who develop and manufacture organic foods.
Gavala Mounika, B. First year university students often struggle with their studies because of lack of academic reading skills. This lack of academic reading skills creates a barrier for them in accessing information in academic texts, and therefore leads to a higher failure rate. The purpose of this paper was to investigate the academic reading strategies employed by first year students registered at two rural South African universities. The investigation will assist in informing the design of material in an English module for first year students, particularly students in the Science stream. The study adopted the explorative qualitative approach were participants were purposefully sampled as they were students registered for the first year English modules in both universities. The study aimed at profiling students’ strategies used when reading through academic texts. The results of the test were analysed using the descriptive method focusing on the metacognitive strategies of reading. Findings of the study showed that metacognitive reading strategies are very important for students to access information in academic texts. The study recommends that students’ metacognitive reading skills should be developed from the high school level for them to be able to succeed with their academic reading activities.
Molotja TW, Motlhaka HA, Phokwane PP Copyright (c) 2023 2023-02-08 2023-02-08 1 44 112 121 The ‘price’ of character Naming in xitsonga: An onomastic Reading of B.k. Textbooks have a long tradition and play a significant role in language teaching. They have a strong status in the culture and the power to define the language and what the studying of it is (Vanha, 2017). Textbooks play a significant role in the teaching and learning of language due to the content and activities that assist learners to understand the importance of language and to understand better what is expected of them in terms of the skills that are imparted to them (Department of Education, 2022). The qualitative research approach was employed for the study, with the case study research design and interpretive paradigm. The data collection instruments followed for the study were semi-structured interviews, document analysis of Grade 7 textbooks and learners’ written essays. The Genre Theory and Cognitivist Theory were adopted for the study. The findings of the study was that textbooks have negative influence on the learners writing skills, whereby learners use wrong spelling and unnecessary loaning of words that are influenced by their prescribed textbooks. The researcher discovered that textbooks negatively affect the writing skills of the learners that result in learners not respecting their own language, with their cultural aspects also being affected. The Department of Education must make sure that the relevant and skilled people are employed to thoroughly review textbooks before being distributed to schools, to avoid giving learners books that do not support their indigenous language and its orthographic rules.
Maledu, A.D., Ngobeni, N.E., Motlhaka HA Copyright (c) 2023 2023-02-08 2023-02-08 1 44 132 144 The Perceptions of English First Additional Language Teachers on Grade 10 Learners’ Academic Performance at A Township Secondary School in Gauteng Province http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/2031
The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of teachers’ English First Additional Language on learners’ academic performance. It provides information for the producers, operator and the consumers on real time. There is an extreme demand to efficiently conduct this power supplied to the consumption domains such as household, organizations, industries, and smart cities. For this respect, a smart grid with stable systems is being expended to supply the dynamic power requirements. Predicting smart grid stability is still challenging. Many factors affect the stability of grid one of them is customer and producer participation. Identifying the participants may lead to the smart grid stabilities. In this work, we propose a deep learning model to detect the stability of the smart grid. The results of the proposed model are compared to other popular classifier models used in different studies like Support Vector Machine, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Gradient Boosted Trees, Multilayer neural network, Gated Recurrent Units, traditional LSTM and Recurrent Neural Networks and Multidirectional Long Short-Term Memory. For background scenario of it, regarding its description & all, consumer marketing has been taken as the consideration point/field. Consumer behaviour is what on experiencing a proposition of consumer marketing is to be measured by attitude construction. From a proposition (product or service) introduction to a behavioural attitude - this entire process of attitude must go through forming of attitude clusters in the decisive cognition. The paper has described these clusters through methodological ‘quantitatively modelling’ way which is by approaches like emphasis of attitude variables & their related combination possibility. Entire study is academic & at present, at theoretical level. Also, variables of a marketing programme to persuade a proposition before consumers are discussed on fundamental ways that the interaction happens (as a function or process). The study, in all, would facilitate the study of attitude research into aspects of quantitative estimation & approach. Entire study has ultimately led into determination of field based attitude outcomes (by emphasis-combination analogy); the field could be a market, marketing or any proposition that a prospect experiences his/her attitude level in consumer marketing.
Mr. Prasanta Biswas, Dr. S Sriranjani Mokshagundam, Dr Pooja Jayashankar, Dr. Jalaja Enamala Copyright (c) 2023 2023-02-09 2023-02-09 1 44 190 228 Retracted http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/2042
Retracted
Retracted Copyright (c) 2023 Specialusis Ugdymas 2023-02-10 2023-02-10 1 44 229 237 Civil–Military Relations and Education of Military Elites: Lesson Learned from the Prussian Army http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/2043
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, profound political changes took place in Europe. This included a decline in the credibility given to realist theories that are based on the role of military power. These events led to reevaluation of the liberal theories of interdependence based on a minor role of military power. However, military annexation by Russia of the Crimean Peninsula in Ukraine over February and March 2014 and the war on Ukraine launched by Russians, on 24 February 2022, have again emphasized a growing role of military issues in domestic and foreign policies. Thus, defining the place of soldiers in state and society and deciding the proper balance between the soldiers and civilians is not only an adequate challenge, but also a perpetual need. Analyzing traditions is always important for eliminating negative viewpoints and for fostering positive ones. The Prussian model has a lot of to say about all the above.

In this essay, I will trace the evolution of Prussian army and I will demonstrate how its politics was a decisive factor during the absolutist period (1640-1918). In this paper I will address, in a synthesized way, issues related to the status of women in urban settings in a particular area of Albania in the late Middle Ages, such as in Shkodra (Scutari), Durrës, Ulcinj, Bar (Antivari), etc. In contrast to data from customary law (characteristic of the rural and mountainous areas of local government in the Principality of Albania) documentary sources of the time provide a relatively large amount of information regarding the role and importance of the figure of the woman in the other half of Medieval Albanian civilization (namely in that of autonomous cities), and shed light on the legal and penal protection of her person, dignity and honour. In cases of murder, assault, insult, violence and rape against women, no individual, neither layperson nor clergy, had immunity from prosecution before the law. The misappropriation or embezzlement of a woman's dowry, her right to draft a will, or to represent her husband in a lawsuit in his absence, as well as other situations or combinations of these, convince us that respect for the rights of woman and protection of her dignity in the period of the late Middle Ages, were genuine and seriously appreciated. The general panorama of the social position of women in Albania in the 14th - 15th centuries was similar to the medieval models and practices of medieval civic society in Italo-Dalmatian cities and those of the Western Adriatic and Mediterranean area.
Ermal Baze, Andi Pinari Copyright (c) 2023 2023-02-15 2023-02-15 1 44 290 298 The Relationship between Creative Thinking, Collaboration, and Communication Skills in High School Level Biology Learning http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/2051
Background: To succeed in biology learning, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication skills are required. It has always been connected to social and political conditions with which it is faced. In the Albanian literature after ’90-s is appeared a new phenomenon, more controversial, which is related to the language of literature. Albanian writer migrated to west, choose to write in the language of the country where they live. In their works, are embodied two mentalities, two cultures, and most importantly, two different ways of doing literature, rules of different expression skills. One of them is Elvira Dones that with her particular style bring to the reader hands, special stories of different characters and themes, from Klea, an autobiographical narrative, to Andrea with the theme of neuroses; from Hana, from north of Albania to the story of three women besieged in their house in Prishtina. The author write directly in Italian language perhaps in it she found all the expressiveness required that can worthily accompany her stories, in which she express herself no longer influences the profile of the characters. She writes a literature very close to critical realism. Especially when faced with an editorial translation, the translator knows that the first way to have a satisfactory result is this: every translation is like placing a bet with the author's intentions. In other words, a perfect translation is impossible to achieve, even in the best case, the result of our efforts will always be an approximation. Of course, there are almost perfect approximations and other controversial ones, but it is always about approximations. The concept of fidelity is never an absolute concept, but a relative one: it is related to the text, to the moment when we translate, to the translator himself. We are talking, of course, about general rules. Fortunately, there are always exceptions. But if we remain within the scope of the general rule, we can say that this type of doubt (to approach? To move away? To soften it? Not to soften it?) becomes more frequent when we are asked to translate the so-called "cultural factors", this category, broad and not easily grasped, and this is exactly where we can include the culturemes.
Renata Martini Kristo, Markeliana Anastasi Copyright (c) 2023 2023-03-13 2023-03-13 1 44 440 450 Impact of Psychological Counselling on Subjective Wellbeing of University Students http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/2085
This study investigated the effect of psychological assistance provided by special mentors to the university students. A cross-sectional design was used for the study, with a sample size of 122 mothers and their young children within the age range of 0–24 months. Multistage sampling was employed. The relationship between mothers’ nutritional knowledge and feeding practices adopted for their infants and young children was examined using Spearman’s correlation at a 0.01 significant level. The result showed a weak negative insignificant (r = -.141, p > 0.01) relationship. Similarly, mothers’ educational level and their age did not influence their choice of infant feeding practices (p > 0.05). Rather, factors such as work situation, culture, post-natal clinic services, family and friends influenced the mother’s choice of infant and young child feeding practices (p < 0.05). About 37% of mothers confirmed that they introduced other foods to their infants below 4 months; however, 95% of mothers were noted for introducing supplementary foods to infants below the 6th month. This finding indicated that the feeding practices adopted by most mothers were not in line with WHO recommendations for infant feeding, hence the high prevalence of severe underweight in Effiduase (72%) and Dadease (78%). The study recommended the need for promotion for the best infant and young child feeding practices in the Sekyere-Kumawu and Sekyere-East districts through effective health e ducation and counselling routines as well as a young children’s dieting guide to be enforced at Dadease and Effiduase to foster optimal childhood feeding practices among mothers.
Martha Serwaa Wiredu, Nanice Fosu, Felicia Bonnah Quansah, Bernice MawufemorAgbedor Copyright (c) 2023 2023-01-05 2023-01-05 1 44 587 609 Independent Living Skills Needed by Students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Towards Inclusive Education: A Systematic Literature Review http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/2125
Background: Inclusive education is vital to nation-building and should be enjoyed by every student, including students with special educational needs (SEN). Language and literature are like four walls in a room. It has a bonding towards each other. The word "Digital" is a communal phrase, meaning it has become quotidian. As we live literally in the digital world, people around us learnuniquely renovated phrases every day. In the high-tech world, persons of all ages are surrounded by smart devices. There is a bridge between children and adults where the children of ancient and modern times have learning differences, and their captivity power has upheaved. While we take language development in children, it is going on a super pace, but it makes a lot of difference in adults. The enamor in the child's birth grows internally as well as externally. This development in the adult has decreased due to the modern world. At present, elderly people are more involved in using gadgets that they fail to sleuth in children's enrichment of language. The recast of the innovation level has pros and cons. Not many know the cons of the digital world, but language development has descended in modern times. The adaptation in child and adult can be given by using small activities like newspaper reading, collecting new vocabularies, and forming sentences for our mundane activities. The research was conducted in West Lombok Regency using qualitative methods based on the results of research and discussion using relevant theories, including theory; Pierre Bourdieu's class reproduction, John Broadus Watson's theory of behaviourism, and Raymond Boudon's rational choice theory, which can be concluded that the dropout phenomenon in West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia is caused by many factors, namely; 1) early marriage, 2) poverty, 3) low motivation of children, 4) lack of parental support, 5) low IQ of children (not able to take lessons), and 6) social influence factors. Referring to the research findings, it is recommended to parties related to education policy that the problem of children dropping out of school cannot be solved alone by the government, so the government should involve universities to take part in dealing with the problems of school dropouts, for example with campus teaching programs, community service, and thematic Real Work Lectures. However, marginalised groups like the scheduled tribes have often been limited by social constructs of the ‘verna system’ which is prevalent in Central India. The influence of cultural practices is reflected by the poor access to both literacy and education in the area as compared to the scheduled tribes of North East India which enjoys a more flexible culture and had been exposed to the activities of Christian missionaries during the colonial period. The prevalence of patriarchy in Central India has too seen its influence to a wider gender disparity in the area. The paper discusses the disparity in literacy and educational attainment of scheduled tribes in Central India, with special reference to Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
Tejaswita Duarah Copyright (c) 2023 2023-07-11 2023-07-11 1 44 769 780 The Effect of Using Small Games on Developing Emotional Intelligence Skills among Schoolchildren Aged (11-12) Years http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/2157
The aim of the research is to select a group of small games to develop emotional intelligence skills for school pupils at the age of (11-12) years, as well as to know the impact of these games. For the study, due to its suitability and the nature and objectives of this study, the research community consisted of school students at the age of (11_12) years for the academic year (2022-2023), and their number was (360) students. This research was conducted in the period from 6/11/2022 to 21/1 / 2023 and on a sample of students from Al-Azd Primary School for Boys for the academic year (2022_2023) and at the age of (11-12) years, and their number reached (72) students, 20% of the research community. And each group consisted of (36) students after conducting the processes of homogeneity and equivalence, and the appropriate tests were selected by the researcher, with conducting a mini-exploratory experiment on a group of (30) students from outside the basic research sample, tools and aids in the research Pre-tests were conducted on the two groups, and then small games were applied within the educational units of (20) units in a period of ten weeks. Several conclusions were made, the most important of which was that the vocabulary of small games played an effective and significant role in developing emotional intelligence skills, as well as the differences between the pre and post tests of the control group members appeared significantly, which were subject to the approach followed in the physical education lesson plan for the sixth grade of the primary stage, and in the light of these conclusions The researcher recommended the necessity of applying the small games group in the physical education lesson in primary schools, as well as the need to create the educational environment with the capabilities and tools necessary to apply the small games during the main part of the physical education lesson.
Rana Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Taie, Dr. Nibras Younis Al Murad, Aqil Yahya Al-Araji Copyright (c) 2023 2023-01-05 2023-01-05 1 44 781 798 Managerial Principles of Prophetic Schools on the Management of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/2164
Education is a conscious and planned effort to create intelligent, independent and noble human beings. Education in question is not just a transfer of knowledge but also a transfer of value or transfer of value. Of course, school cannot be separated as a vehicle for learning. This study aims to determine the correlation relationship between professional school principal management and management of infrastructure to improve student learning services where there is a causal correlation that influences each other between variables. By using a quantitative research design to test the hypothesis using a research sample of 50 respondents consisting of teachers and students. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling using the Taro Yamane formula quoted from Akdon and Sahlan. Data from the instrument were processed using descriptive statistical analysis methods or inferential statistics using applied mathematical formulas (statistics).

Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis "the managerial role of the principal in the development of facilities and infrastructure at Annihayah Middle School is said to be significant with a value of 0.719. Then the value of 0.719 indicates that it has a positive relationship and a very strong level of relationship as seen from the correlation coefficient interval between 3.80 – 1.000. Based on the results of simple linear regression calculations, namely Y = 10,523 + 0.809X and R Square of 0.719, it means that the managerial role of the school principal in developing facilities and infrastructure is 80.90%. The results of the hypothesis test show that the alternative hypothesis (Ho) "there is a managerial relationship between the prophetic school principal and the management of infrastructure to improve student learning services". So that the results of the hypothesis test can be verified in this study.
Dadang Rahman Munandar, N. To deliver the word of da'wah, effective measures must be used, so that the community understands the purposes of da'wah. The media is one of the vehicles for delivering these da'wah ideas; in fact, the media wields tremendous power in leading and influencing the audience's attitude. Along with technological advancement, the media underwent a remarkable transformation. Various social media platforms have sprung up in an attempt to attract the people as users. The purpose of this research is to examine the role of social media as a Da'wah field in the Digital Age. The study's findings indicate that using social media as a da'wah field has enormous potential for reaching a large audience and influencing individual behavior. However, numerous factors must be considered in order for social media da'wah to be effective. First, it is critical to improve one's relationship with Allah SWT so that the da'wah given is blessed and genuine. Second, recognizing the needs of the ummah is critical in communicating relevant and heartfelt da'wah messages. Third, religious knowledge must be constantly increased and enriched so that da'wah has a solid base and high credibility. Fourth, beginning preaching in one's immediate surroundings is a sensible step toward developing solid relationships and expanding the reach of da'wah through social networks. Fifth, always increase religious knowledge so that da'wah can be given with a thorough understanding and the correct responses to audience inquiries or doubts.
Zamakhsyari Abdul Majid Copyright (c) 2023 2023-01-05 2023-01-05 1 44 812 820 Analyzing Critical Thinking Skills as A Deterrent to Religious-Based Conflicts http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/2174
The study of religious-based conflict is still a hot topic, especially since conflict resolution is different, some of which use cultural, criminal law approaches, and some are resolved with local wisdom. This research aims to analyze the ability to think critically as a deterrent to religious conflicts. By adopting quantitative methods, the data obtained are in the form of numbers and can be analyzed based on statistical procedures with rules and requirements that must be met, such as concrete/empirical, objective, measurable, rational, and systematic. This research procedure starts from the preparation stage, where the researcher determines the problem based on phenomena that occur in the field, determines the research topic, conducts a literature review, looks for a theoretical basis and scope, formulates a problem and framework that will be a reference for research, conducts an initial study, determines the population and sample, and compiles a measuring instrument that will be used when collecting data. The research instrument was a set of questionnaires consisting of informed consent, demographic data, peacemaking behavior, and psychological factors consisting of critical thinking skills. The participants in this study were 2800 people from the general public who were recruited using convenience sampling. The results of the analysis show a large absolute t-value of > 1.96, which means that the trajectory coefficient is significant. This shows that critical thinking power directly affects peacemaking as a variable to prevent religious conflict.
Agus Abdul Rahman, Farid Soleh Nurdin Copyright (c) 2023 2023-09-20 2023-09-20 1 44 821 834 Clay Educative Games to Increase Learning Concentration of ADHD Children in Ibnu Sina Bandung Inclusion Kindergarten http://www.sumc.lt/index.php/se/article/view/2182
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a medical term for children who experience behavioral disorders and is found in many children, of course requiring learning that can increase the child's concentration in learning.
