Force Constant in II-VI group of semiconductors

Abstract

Semiconductors are present in periodic table of group II-VI. In this paper, we have calculated values of force constant of II-VI group of semiconductors. The value of force constant found corresponding with bond orbital parameter (V₂, V₃), average s-p splitting (V₁^s) and covalency (a_c) used as input data.
