Knee Exoskeleton Design with Enhanced Battery Life Using Mppt Algorithm
Main Article Content
Abstract
In order to recharge the lithium ion batteries of the knee exoskeletons used in the power exoskeleton applications, modified PO algorithmic MPPT controller was used to design the buck boost converter circuit. This converter circuit is used to recharge the battery through non exhaustible source of energy, solar rays. The modified algorithm is used to reduce the distress caused due to the unstabilized oscillations at the maximum power point by modifying the corresponding duty cycle. The MPPT controller was fed with the modified program and is used in the buck boost converter. From the simulation of the converter it is evident that the maximum power output is obtained at 5A (approximately) current
