Using data gathered from a sample of university students and high-school students in Croatia and employing regression analysis, we found evidence that financial satisfaction contributes to greater levels of life satisfaction. Our results suggest that in order to increase the level of happiness, one must improve the level of financial satisfaction and take control over personal finances.
