A Literary Research on Correlation of Charakokta Sadvritta with Vachana Sahitya (Karnataka Bhakti Movement)

Abstract
Introduction:Ayurveda is an ancient science that guides us in maintaining a healthy mind and body. There are many secrets in Ayurveda knowledge for happy living. SadvrittaAcharana (good conduct or ethical regimen) is one among such principle of Ayurveda for to maintain balanced state of life. These are the rules and regulations designed by Aptapurushas who has aSatvik mental constitution. Following Sadvritta provides the great sense of control over our senses and desires. Sadvritta is not only a term that limits behavioral aspects but it also includes self-discipline and self-control. Vachana Sahitya is one of the practical oriented life sciences as like Ayurveda, which was written in early 11th and 12th Century as a part of Karnataka Bhakti Movement and Sharanas of Vachana Sahitya were social reformer hence we can find the Tattvas of Sadvritta in the form of Vachanas and these Vachanas are in a simple regional language Kannada, which enables common people to understand and follow them in their day today life.
Materials and Methods:This research work is comparative observational study and materials required aretextbooks of Vachana Sahitya, Charaka Samhita and its commentaries, Kannada and English dictionary for understanding and translating Vachanas.
Discussion:India has distinction of multiplicity of thoughts, languages, artistic, cultural, scientific, philosophical perceptions and knowledge system. This composite knowledge is perceived as the key resource for developmental activities hence it is very essential to learn these diversities and moral principles. This research article is intended to through a light on Tattvas of CharakoktaSadvrittaand its co relational analysiswith Tattvas of Vachana Sahitya.
Conclusion:This research work is to observe the parallels between CharakoktaSadvrittaand Karnataka Vachana Sahitya that we can sensitize common people more easily as Vachanas are appealing to hearts and minds of common people and are in simple regional language.
