Contemporary Implementation of Artificial Intelligencein Power Electronics: A Review

Abstract

The integration of programmable hardware along with the smart sensors and IoT to various power electronics based controllers has become an important area of research by creating a new generation of power Electronics. With the help of implantation of a wide range of massive sensors into the power modules and then transmitting the measured values to power devices through internet, the manufacturers and the users of these devices gets connected directly and thus the real time operating conditions can be monitored for each user.

With the use of Artificial Intelligence, the big data from sensors can be analysed which will result in the customer tailored services by the service providers to each end user.Parameters in the programmable hardware can be tuned for optimal operation of devices for each user with the help of any digital interface.
