Abstract

The notion of international legal personality has developed the image of confusion as to which entities possess the international status to assert their rights and fulfill international obligations on international platforms. In Reparation of injuries, the case has impetus the spark not only in the emergence of further of this concept but also opened up gates for new entities to enjoy the status of international legal personality and thereby acquire the rights to lay claim on an international platform. The relevance of it is all the more serious in the circumstances when there is a mushroom growth of so many international organizations working at different levels and for different causes. This paper scanning through the different emerging conceptions of international legal personality, breaking the traditional ones, and a look at even more freshly emerging approaches to international legal personality is the main objective of this paper. This paper revolves around the newly emerging non-state entities and their position in contemporary international law. Also, the whole concept is to be reviewed as to whether the concept of international legal personality is getting blurred and slowly fading away.
